Give your clients a shared starting point

SAMRUM is a conversation tool for families, built on Big Five and the Interpersonal Circumplex. It gives families shared language for their patterns — something practitioners can build on before or between sessions. It is not a clinical instrument, makes no diagnoses, and does not replace professional assessment.

Families take a short test and get reports about their dynamics — strengths, friction, and concrete suggestions. As a practitioner, you can become part of the network families may choose to reach out to.

How we think about this

SAMRUM is not a directory or marketplace. We don't sell access to families, and families don't see a list of practitioners.

  • Families use SAMRUM to understand their dynamics. If they want, they can share reports with a practitioner – typically someone they already know.
  • When a report shows patterns that may be difficult to handle alone, we mention that professional help exists. Here, families can choose to reach out to practitioners who match their needs.
  • Contact always happens on the family's initiative. You get no automatic access – only what they actively choose to share.

How can you use SAMRUM?

Receive reports from existing clients

Your client shares their SAMRUM report before the next session. You see a map of the family's dynamics — who's similar, where friction arises, and what to talk about. You see exactly what they choose to share — nothing more.

Get contacted by families who match you

When a family's report shows patterns you specialize in, they can choose to send you an inquiry. You decide whether to respond.

What you get as a practitioner

Free and no obligations

No subscription, no commission, no commitment. You pay nothing to participate.

Curated network

We onboard slowly to ensure balance between supply and demand. We seek broad professional representation.

Fair visibility

Everyone gets equal opportunities. We rotate who is shown to families, so no one sits at the front of the queue all the time.

Privacy at the center

You only get access to what the family actively shares. They can revoke sharing at any time.

How can I use SAMRUM in my practice?

SAMRUM fits into practice in three ways. First: as preparation before the first session, so the family arrives with shared language. Second: as a touchpoint between sessions, where a report or focus track gives something concrete to build on. Third: as a reference when an existing client struggles to put patterns into words.

  • Preparation before first session saves mapping time in the room
  • Between sessions, reports and focus tracks give concrete material
  • Shared language for patterns makes them easier to point at in therapy
  • The family owns the report and decides what to share
  • Can be used standalone or alongside existing methods

How it works

Is SAMRUM a replacement for clinical assessment?

No. SAMRUM is explicitly designed as a reflection and conversation tool, not a clinical instrument. Profiles and reports make no diagnoses, do not score for psychopathology, and do not flag risk categories. They describe personality patterns in everyday language, grounded in Big Five and IPC. Clinical assessment remains your responsibility as a practitioner.

  • No diagnoses, no clinical scoring, no risk screening
  • Built on Big Five and IPC — personality, not pathology
  • Reports use everyday language, not clinical terminology
  • When the report identifies patterns where self-help isn't enough, it recommends contacting a practitioner — never a diagnosis
  • Clinical assessment remains your responsibility and your competence

Methodology

Do I see my clients' raw test answers?

No. Raw test answers are private and never shown — not to practitioners, not to SAMRUM itself. You can see a client's profile or report, but only if the client actively shares it with you via the platform. Sharing is optional, can be withdrawn at any time, and never includes answer by answer.

  • Raw answers are never seen — by anyone, including SAMRUM
  • You only see what the client actively chooses to share with you
  • Sharing can be withdrawn at any time by the client
  • The report describes patterns between people, never individual answers
  • Deliberate design choice: people answer most honestly when no one watches

Privacy

Can I ask my clients to take the test before the first session?

Yes, that works well. The client creates a profile, takes the test (ca. 10 minutes for adults), and can choose to share the report with you before you meet. The test and profile are free for the client. If the family also wants to buy a relationship report, that's their own choice and a one-time purchase — no lock-in or subscription.

  • The test is free for the client, permanent, not a trial
  • Takes ca. 10 minutes for adults, less for teen and child
  • The client can share profile or report with you before the first meeting
  • Shared language from the start saves time in the opening work
  • No lock-in for the client — relationship reports are one-time purchases

Pricing

How does the practical collaboration work?

Practically, it's light. You apply to the network, are reviewed manually, and receive a profile families can choose to contact. There's no commission, no lock-in, no invoice. Families share reports with you only when they choose to — and can withdraw that sharing at any time. You only answer the referrals you want to answer.

  • Applications reviewed manually; reply within five working days
  • No commission, no subscription, no invoice, ever
  • Families reach out to you — you decide whether to respond
  • Sharing is governed by the family, not by SAMRUM or an algorithm
  • Your profile can be deactivated again at any time, no notice

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for practitioners with experience in families, couples, or parent-child relationships: psychologists, psychotherapists, family therapists, couples therapists, child therapists, coaches, and counselors. You must offer online sessions — because families who match you may be anywhere in the country. We evaluate all applications individually and respond within 5 business days. We primarily onboard practitioners with active client contact.

SAMRUM has a growing number of families, and inquiries scale with that. You won't necessarily receive referrals from day one — but you're visible to the families whose patterns match your profile.

Representing an organization (school, municipality, clinic)? Fill out the application form below and briefly describe your organization and what you're considering.
